The online release of Kannada version of the Malayalam short film, Sarbath, directed by Sooraj Tom held today.
This is part of the team’s effort in releasing all major Indian languages. The Hindi and Tamil version of Sarbath was released the other day. Sarbath debates about the importance of staying safe during KOVID-19 pandemic. The theme of the movie is about the quarantine life of the expatriates. This short film sends a subtle message that has great significance. The Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil versions of Sarbath received humongous reception. The Telugu version of the film will also be released without delay. Power star Puneet Rajkumar, superstar Ravichandran, stars Kishore, John Kokan, Parul Yadav, Jolly Bastin, Shreyas Manju, Bigg Boss winner Pratham, famous Kannada producer K. Manju and director VK. Prakash, a well-known Kannada police LY Rajesh and various fan groups of superstars have jointly released the Kannada version of Sarbath on their Facebook page. This is the first time a short film has been released in a similar fashion in all Indian languages. The relevance of the subject matter and the novelty of the presentation sets Sarbath apart. Badusha, a prominent production controller in Malayalam, played the lead role in this short movie which conveys the message of Quarantine which became a big hit during the KOVID-19 era. Badusha controls the production of most of the films released in Malayalam. This is the first time that Badusha is doing a full – length role.
Sarbath, which is only five minutes long, gives the audience a great recognition. The film has received great acclaim everywhere. Sarbath has been released by local superstars in all languages through their Facebook and Instagram pages. This huge star participation quickly caused the film to go viral on social media. Sooraj Tom Productions and Team Media have teamed up to produce Sarbath in several languages. Sooraj Tom, who has been working as an art film director for many years, directed Pava (Toy) and Ente Mezhuthiri Athaazhangal (My Candlelight Dinners). He is currently filming the Web Story, “Better Half” which is an adaptation of a real story. The story is by Vivek Mohan, who is a content developer in the Advertisement Industry. Sagar Ayappan is DoP, Rajesh Kemath is the Editor, Anand Madhusoodhanan is the music director, Ani Sooraj is the Sound Engineer and PR Sumeran is the PRO.
