COVID-19: Royal Enfield contributes Rs.2 crore towards TN Disaster Relief fund

As part of corporate social responsibility, the Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield, part of Eicher Group has contributed Rs.2 crore to the Tamil Nadu Disaster Reief Fund on June 8, 2021 amidst ongoing initiatives towards COVID-19 pandemic support in the state.

Vinod K Dasari, Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield met the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin at the General Secretariat and presented a cheque of Rs.2 crore for COVID-19 relief work undertaken by the State Government in the presence of MP, RS Bharathi, Plant Head G Rajagopal and Head of Plant HR Dr. Arul Anand Prabhu.

Speaking about the CSR, Dasari said: “Tamil Nadu is the home of Royal Enfield motorcycles and we are committed to support the State in all its efforts to combat the devastating second wave of the pandemic. Our commitment to extend support to the state government today is being accompanied by a host of initiatives that Royal Enfield is undertaking in the region to extend relief to the community. We continue to assess the situation closely and will undertake any further steps required to extend further support towards relief and rehabilitation efforts in the long run.”
