Sreeni Manjeri is a busy still photographer with many Malayalam and Tamil films due to release this month
Maverick photographer. Inborn talent. You can see passion in every candid shot he produces. That is Sreeni Manjeri for you. Since 2007, this ace still photographer is serving the Malayalam film industry as Assistant Still Photographer. He has worked in more than 30 films with leading cinematographers and senior still photographers across the country. Sreeni started working as an independent still photographer in 2011 for the Sibi Malayail directed film, Violin. Ever since, Sreeni has successfully executed in excess of 15 movies as an independent still photographer. He has worked under big banner Maniyan Pillai Raju Productions movie Pavada, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, directed by ace director, Marthandan. What is more, Sreeni has also done the still photography in the Malayalam movie, Madhaveeyam, the Vineeth Radhakrishnan starer, set to release on November 23, 2018.
Sreeni is also active in Tamil movies. He has independently worked as still photographer in three films. The first movie he worked as still photographer in Tamil was the Myna fame Vidharth cinema, Venmekham besides another movie, Unnai Partha Naal.
He is in cloud nine as he is able to work in the cradle of south Indian celluloid world, Chennai, where Sreeni has completed the assignment as still photographer in a big budget movie. After waiting for so long, Sreeni is thrilled that Sei is getting released on November 16, 2018.
Sei is directed by Rajbabu and produced by Mesh and Mannu. Trend Music South has acquired the music rights of Sei. The actress who acted in the movie Boys, Devayani’s own brother Nakkhul is the protagonist of this new movie. Other star cast in this Tamil film includes Nazar, Prakash Raj.
Shankar Mahadeven, Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam and Benny Dayal have rendered wonderful songs, composed by new comer Nithin Lopez.
The shooting of Sei was held in locations such as Pondicherry, Thenkasi, Chennai and Ladakh. The cinematographer of Malayalam films such as Neelathamara, Elsamma Enna Aankutty, Body Guard and Fukri, Ulakanath has wielded the camera.
A busy man, Sreeni’s bags are full this year. With distinct signature brilliant photographs he has captured, Sreeni Manjeri has carved a niche for himself in the south Indian film world. Going forward, this young still photographer will do wonders with brilliant captures.
