What with the foray of the Japanese two-wheeler major, Honda in the premium motorcycle business vertical, Honda BigWing, its subsidiary in the country, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited today has shared the overview of its next exciting aggressive growth plans for fun biking enthusiasts in India.
HM&SI is planning to nearly double the production of its Honda BigWing portfolio from the current seven to 13 Fun models in 2020. The company is also aiming at injecting fun of riding in its existing and new segments. The Indian biking enthusiasts can expect five brand new Fun models. What is more, all existing seven Fun models of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India raging from 300cc to 1800cc to get practically brand new with global updates.
With a cohesive and renewed focus on ‘Make in India for the World,’ Honda will foray into the mass production of select motorcycles from India from its current CKD/CBU operations. Furthermore, Honda’s Silver Wing is all set to expand aggressively pan India from the present 23 cities to 75 cities.
Elaborating on Honda’s fun biking focus, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Starting April’19, Honda spearheaded its new premium bike business identity under Silver Wing-Mark branded as -Description: Honda BigWing. Honda will unleash Phase II of its premium business vertical in the new BS-VI era. Customers can expect double the fun with 13 iconic global models including 5 brand new models. This will be supported by exclusive Description: Honda BigWing network for sales and service in 75 cities.”

For 2020, Honda starts a new chapter in the Fireblade’s illustrious history with a new machine that is ‘Born to Race’.
