Krithi International Knowledge Festival 2019: Adholoka Gaayakan Malayalam collection of stories of Vinu Abraham released

The launch of Malayalam author Vinu Abraham‘s eighth story collection and 21st book, Adholokha Gaayakan (Underworld Singer) was held at the Krithi International Knowledge Festival 2019, held at Marine Drive Grounds in Kochi on February 11, 2019. Krithi 2019 is being held from February 8-17.

Film maker and writer, Madhupal officially released Adholoka Gaayakan by handing over the book to novelist George Joseph K, while the Malayalam literary critic, Muthinad Padmakumar introduced the book at the event. Sangeetha Justine of Saikatham Books (publisher of Adholoka Gaayakan), coordinated the event. This collection of stories, consisting of 25 stories, of which, most of them are taken from the ones Vinu Abraham had authored at the time of his earlier published story collections, nevertheless that are not being published at that time. Few other stories in this book had been taken from his earlier published books as well. The newest book of Vinu Abraham consists of 136 pages, which is priced at Rs.120.
