Poverty and Malnutrition twin bane

Poverty and malnutrition are the double whammy and a big challenge for a larger country like India. If poverty is a bane, then under-nutrition a pain, which is plaguing the country today. As per the Food and Agriculture Organisation estimate, around 195 million people go hungry daily in India and the sad paradox is that one in four children are being malnourished.

The mapping and location platform services major HERE Technologies believe, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strongly believes in giving back to the society and providing communities with necessary resources and welfare measures to help them grow and flourish.

While elaborating on the initiative, Damandeep Kochhar, Vice President – Global Content Operation, HERE Technologies said, “We are proud to partner with Rise Against Hunger in this milestone initiative.
