Virus, the latest Malayalam movie, directed by Ashiq Abu will reach the theares for screening on June 7, 2019. The story of the movie is about the Nipah virus that made the Keralites to stand on the edges thorn with fear. In fact, it is a real life account of the outbreak of the deadly virus Nipah that gripped Kerala and created panic. How the resilient Keralites overcame the fear and how few individuals who courageously put on fight to help contain the epidemic is the gist of the story. A formidable row of actors have greased their faces in Virus such as Kunchako Boban, Fahd Fazil, Revathy, Indrajit, Tovino Thomas, Reema Kallingal, Asif Ali, Parvathi, Ramya Nambisan, Soubin Shahir, Dileep Pothan, Rahman, Chemban Vinod, Indrajit, and more.
Ashiq Abu and his spouse, Reema Kallingal are the producers of Virus. Muhsin Parari and Suhas Sharaf, who wrote the screenplay for the Malayalam flick, Sudani From Nigeria, had written the screenplay for Virus as well, while the cinematography is handled by Rajeev Ravi. As the story is based on the real life incident, the movie is likely to elicit lot of interest. What with the mega row of actors portraying various roles, Virus is likely to be a hit at the box office.
