Screenwriting Studio launch Four-Week Online Mentor-ship Programme from August 8, 2020
Screenwriting Studio has launched the online four-week OTT-Web-Series-Screenwriting Programme, Premise to Pitch through India’s only screenwriting studio, Screenwrite.in.

The training programme has been introduced for the web-series scriptwriters. The course will be offered two days a week during weekends . Learners will be provided with the requisite materials well in advanced and all they have to do is to watch the movies or read the stories. The participants will then have to collate examples and initiate an in-depth discussion on the topics.

Speaking to The Indian News, Sab John Edathattil, renowned scriptwriter, who developed this live online mentorship programme said: “We are overwhelmed with the humongous response elicited to all our training programmes in the past. Furthermore, the talent of young and upcoming screenwriters has been remarkable. Our training progrmme is aiming at identifying the latent talents and further encourage them to explore their out of the box thinking and creative abilities.”
Sab John Edathattil has hands on experience in excess of three decades of screenwriting. He has produced more than 30 screenplays in different languages. Key projects he has written scripts include Guna, Kuruthippunal, Chanakyan, Suryamanasam, Highway, Jillunnu Oru Kadhal, Priyam and more. Out of these, the Kamal Hassan starer Guna is his best project. John has also scripted characters for a slew of excellent actors such as Kamal Hassan, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Thilakan, Nassar, Girish Karnad, Raghuvaran, Charuhasan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Suriya, Urvashi, Gouthami, Jyothika, Urmila Matondkar and the list is endless. Sab John is at present focusing on screenplay and web-series assignments. He is also Script Consultant to many renowned film directors.

The programme begins from August 8, 2020. The training programme consists of 24-hours divided over four weekends. The training programme will be conducted by Sab John Edathattil with a combination of teaching, online learning materials, besides the additional assignments/home exercises.
