Malayalam actress Reba Monica John debuts in Tamil Film through Jarugandi

After the success in Malayalam movies such as Jacobinte Swargarajyam and Pipinchuvattile Pranayam, the highly talented actress Malayalee actress Reba Moinca John is foraying into the Tamil film industry by doing a lead role in Jarugandi, which was just released on November 26, 2018, yesterday.

Jarugandi is an action packed comedy film. Upcoming youth star Jai is the lead in Jarugandi, which was released yesterday and according to Bookmyshow portal, 1,306 views it had elicited that is roughly 60%. The critics rating in a day is 2.5 (three stars out of five), users rating is 3.1 (four stars out of five) in addition to 36 user reviews and one critical review as well. I
Pichumani, who worked as Assistant Director under Tamil film Director Venkat Prabhu is the director of Jarugandi. The film has all the ingredients such as action, stand up comedy, romance and what not. Jarugandi is also debut film for both Reba and Pichumani.

As it is his first film as a Director, Pichumani says that he had tried to make the audience enjoy every scene. Jarugandi is actually a Telugu which means move aside. The protagonist goes in a wrong path to achieve his needs. The theme of Jarugandi is revolving around the lead character, who gets embroiled in one trouble after another and the plot reveals how he comes out of the mess. Also, there is a solid message for the new generation in Jarugandi. The main ambition of the protagonist is to set up a travel agency and contrary to his dreams, he lands up in a job as car recovery executive in a financial firm. His job entailed seizing of cars from the car loan defaulters. Fed up with the risky job, he pursues to achieve his ambition of establishing a travel agency and approaches for a loan.

When the financial assistance was forthcoming, with the help of his friend the hero forges documents and borrows money from a financial institution. A cop somehow gets the wind of how the hero forged the documents to avail loan. When the cop was trying to threaten him and fleece money from the protagonist, the latter, who was in dire straits and also in need of more money resorts to kidnap the heroin for ransom.

This act forces the hero to land in a bigger trap. Will he untie the knot? How will he come out of this mess is what the rest of the scenes will reveal in Jarugandi. Other major actors in the comedy packed action thriller include Amit Tiwari, Robo Shankar, Bose Venkat, Daniel Ani Pope, Ilavarasu and GM Kumar. Cinematography is by R.D. Rajsekhar and music composition by Bobo Shaji. Under Shradha Entertainment banner, actor Sathya and Badri Kasthuri had produced Jarugandi.
